The Unit 3 Academic Services Center and affiliated spaces are located below the dining hall in the central building and include the Quiet and Non-Quiet Study Lounges, Classroom L15B, Room L45 (Library), and the All-Purpose Room (APR).
Quiet and Non-Quiet Study Lounges
The Quiet and Non-Quiet Study Lounges are located in L15, to the left of the mailroom in the Unit 3 Central Building. In these lounges, you will find tables, chairs, sofas, study carrels with power outlets, and PANDA ports (Ethernet for your laptop). The Non-Quiet Study lounge can be used for group study with low-level noise and the Quiet Study Lounge is available for quiet (individual) study and has PANDA access. The lounges are available 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m., seven days a week, and your room key opens the door.
Classroom L15B
Classroom L15B is located next to the Quiet Study Lounge and has tables, chairs, two chalkboards, and PANDA ports. It can be used for quiet or group study and is available 7:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m., seven days a week, unless reserved for classes, staff meetings, or hall events. The schedule is posted near the door; please check before entering.
Room L45 (Library)
Room L45, sometimes referred to as “the library,” is located next to the laundry room in the basement of the central building. Room L45 contains tables, chairs, and a chalkboard, and it may be used as an individual or group study space. This room is generally available 7:00 am - 1:00 a.m., seven days a week, and your room key opens the door. Room L45 is not available when reserved for classes, staff meetings, or hall events. The schedule is posted near the door; please check before entering.
All-Purpose Room
The All-Purpose Room is used for meetings and events sponsored Residential and Student Services programs. These include theme program seminars, dances, and community and academic programs sponsored by Unit 3 Resident Assistants.
