Johnny Lam Tutoring Supervisor I am a Bioengineer from the bay area going into my 4th year here at Berkeley. I also plan on obtaining an IEOR minor. Aside from being a tutor, I am also active in certain engineering groups. Whenever I’m not doing anything important, I love to have conversations, read interesting articles, and play games (you can find me on Team Fortress 2 occasionally!).	Derrek Chu Tutor Hey all! My name is Derrek Chu, and I'm going to be a third year at Cal, studying Mathematics and Geography. Aside from tutoring, I enjoy sleeping, grappling in Cal Judo, grooving on my electric bass, listening to music, exercising, and a bit of reading every now and then. I love the Bay Area (born and raised in San Francisco) and hope to eventually find a job here after I graduate, preferably in the realm of academia. Outside of class, I am a member of Berkeley Scientific Journal and Cal Wushu. I am also a big fan of Chinese cultural arts, which ranges anywhere from traditional music to lion dancing. In the future, I would love to travel the world and learn about various cultures. Until then, my plan after Cal is to attend grad school and conduct biomedical research. Feel free to drop by to ask questions.	Madhvi Venkatesh Tutor Hey everyone! My name is Madhvi and I am a fourth year bioengineering major and dance and performance studies minor. I am very excited for my second year as a math tutor because I enjoy problem solving and lending a helping hand to others. When I am not tutoring or in class, I enjoy engineering bacteria to do cool things (like killing tumor cells), spending time with my residents (I am an RA in Foothill), or working with a variety of student groups, including Engineering World Health and The Triple Helix.
