Anirudh Narla Tutoring Supervisor Anirudh is a third year engineering physics major from Hyderabad, India. When he isn’t consumed by homework and classes, research in quantum nanoelectronics and his role as tutoring program supervisor for the physics tutoring program, he enjoys watching a myriad of tv shows and movies, reading and maybe even biking occasionally. He hopes that you enjoy coming to tutoring as much as we enjoy tutoring you! |
Ayesha Punjabi Tutor I'm a third year pre-med Economics major. My weaknesses include Jon Stewart/Stephen Colbert, The Office, puppies, and Smart Alec's. I adore my schoolwork, but I also very much enjoy the piano, books, exercise, volunteering in the Alta Bates emergency room, and exploring the amazing campus/city that is Berkeley! Come to the tutoring table and ask me any questions you have about any of your classes, especially physics! |
Tiffany Hui Tutor Tiffany is a 4th year Bioengineering major. She grew up not too far from Berkeley, Richmond/ El Sobrante, to be exact. She is an avid San Francisco Giants fan and in her down time you can see her cringing over the recent games and seasons. Tiffany used to work at Surf City Squeeze and often thinks of that time as the pinnacle of her employment career. She hopes that with the help of eager students, that pinnacle can change. |
Alex Degtiar Tutor I am a 2nd year Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences major. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and lived there for three years, in Germany for two years, and in Austria for one year before moving to Menlo Park, California at the age of six. The sciences and the cosmos have captivated me from a young age, and when I was ten I became completely obsessed with computers and electronics. Now I want to keep studying EECS (and maybe some astrophysics if I can manage it) at Berkeley and later at grad school. In my free time I like to play video games, watch movies, and do all sorts of nerdy stuff. |
Drew Edelberg Tutor Hi my name is Drew Edelberg and I’m a physics tutor. To tell you a little bit about myself I’m a sophomore here at UC Berkeley, and am a double Math and Physics major. Some of my hobbies include piano, chess and hiking as well as discussing physics with my friends and classmates. In my spare time you’ll probably find me either studying, researching or reading in Berkeley’s extensive library. I hope you’ll join me in your physics endeavors and good luck at Cal. |
Shuokai Chang Tutor Shuokai Chang is a 2nd year mechanical engineering major. He grew up in China, and at the age of 9, moved to Irvine, CA, where he stayed until graduating from high school. This will be his first year as an ASC tutor, although he’s always enjoyed helping fellow students with physics problems. When classes are not stressing him out, he likes to play video games, ping pong, or ultimate Frisbee. |
Chase Stubblefield Tutor Chase is a 3rd-year Math and Computer Science major. He has been interested in Physics since his first class three years ago. He was a member of his high school's Science Olympiad: Phyiscs Lab team, which took 2nd place at the state competition. When he's not doing problem sets or reading textbooks, Chase enjoys acting and school and community theater productions. He also loves music and has been playing piano for nearly 15 years. He plans on being a software designer for companies such as Google, Intel, or Apple. |
Marvin Thielk Tutor Marvin is a junior at UC Berkeley majoring in applied math and minoring in computer science. He is originally from Rochester, NY but his family now lives in Fallbrook, CA. He plans to use his math, physics and computer science to model the brain to aid in neurological research. While not trying to understand the brain, he practices wushu and various other martial arts. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends, sailing, playing video games, and watching anime and movies. |
David Elledge Tutor David is a senior physics major. He transferred from a community college in southern California where he was a tutor for a year and a half. He is interested in particle physics and is currently working at Berkeley Lab on detector upgrades for the Large Hadron Colider. He plans to go to graduate school for physics, and his hobbies include cooking and exercising. |
